Brake + gas pedal
Hold the brake, press the throttle, then release the brake to launch. Choose a fixed launch RPM for brake + gas activation, using your stock pedals.

Hold RES to enter RPM selection, then use +/− to set your launch RPM. Ask us to include it in your build.

03 / FAQWhat is a 2-step secondary rev limiter?
A launch rev limit below your redline. Choose M1/M2 buttons with a separate RPM for each, or brake + gas pedal with one launch RPM. We also support aftermarket sport steering wheels with M1/M2 buttons. Optional RES +/− RPM selection is available on compatible ECU software; we confirm your setup before building.
Which BMW engines do you support?
N20, N26, N55, N63, S55, B48 and B58 requests are open. Tell us your model, year and current software; we confirm exact compatibility before you pay.
How is it delivered?
We deliver worldwide through Bootmod3, MHD or files for compatible ECU tools such as PCMFlash, KESS3, AutoTuner and FLEX. Choose your platform when you start your request. We confirm support for your car and software before preparing your file.
Can I use PCMFlash, KESS3, AutoTuner or FLEX?
Tell us which tool you use, your ECU/DME and whether the file was read by OBD, bench or boot. We’ll check whether we can work with the file for your BMW before you pay. Our upload form takes unencrypted BIN or MPC files.
What do I need for it?
For Bootmod3 or MHD, you need the matching licence and flashing setup. For OBD, bench or boot flashing with an ECU tool, you or your tuner need a compatible tool and the original ECU read. We confirm what your setup needs before you pay.
Can I keep my current tune, and go back to stock?
We confirm whether we can work with your current tune and how to return to stock before you order. Keep a copy of your original file and tell us which flashing platform or tool you use.
Who flashes it, and what if I get stuck?
Flash through Bootmod3 or MHD, or have your tuner write the file with a compatible ECU tool using the agreed OBD, bench or boot method. We supply the file and instructions for your setup. If you get stuck, contact us and we’ll help.
What does it cost?
From $200 USD for a standard 2-step, confirmed for your exact car before you pay. Stage builds and bespoke ECU ROM work are quoted per car. Email contact@cmperf.uk.
